Notre Dame added a second tight end to its 2018 recruiting class Thursday when three-star recruit Tommy Tremble orally committed to play for the Irish.
Tremble, from Wesleyan School in Norcross, Ga., announced his decision on Twitter.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Tremble picked Notre Dame over Georgia, Michigan and UCLA. He is the No. 473 prospect in the nation, No. 20 among tight ends and No. 51 in Georgia, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
Tremble joins four-star tight end recruit George Takacs in Notre Dame’s class, which now numbers 20 commitments and ranks sixth in the composite team rankings.
College football's first early signing period begins Wednesday.
